Designing Better is a project to re-design how intensive addictions and mental health services for adults are organized and delivered in the WWLHIN. A key focus of the project is to redesign how people actually experience services. We are inviting you to our first Open House to learn more about the project and participate in our research and decision-making. This is a drop-in event that is open to everyone!
Please RSVP below:
Date: Monday, January 11th, 2016
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Rockway Golf Club
625 Rockway Dr., Kitchener
Why should you come?
Learn more about the project
We want to take you through our process and share our findings to date. The open house will give you an insider’s look at how we are working with the data and present our preliminary results.
Give feedback on the results so far
You will have the opportunity to interact with our results, adding your own questions and comments to what we’ve learned so far. You will also be able to provide feedback on the first draft of a toolkit that will help us use what we’ve learned for system change.
Decide what happens next
The next step of this project is to test the toolkit by applying it in real life. We can try out the toolkit and take on a service or system design project at the same time. We want your ideas for which project we should take on, and we’d love for you to be involved in the testing!
